Laura Mercier Mineral Pressed Powder

RRP: £31
# of shades available: 8

--What does the promo say?--
"Composed of a custom blend of Pearl Powders rich in amino acids, Laura Mercier Mineral Pressed Powder offers a natural, buildable foundation for sheer to full coverage. With its creamy texture, the oil free, water-resistant formula adheres to skin for a colour-true finish all day."

--Packaging--
The square plastic compact looks elegant and sleek thanks to its minimalist black and silver design. The package in general, and specifically the click mechanism, seem robust, and the compact contains a goodly-sized mirror also. Unfortunately the applicator is a sponge (albeit generously-sized) rather than a brush (my own preference).

--Application--
The brand recommends that you use the sponge to continue layering the powder until the desired coverage is achieved. Easy enough, even if I do prefer a brush (see below as to why).

--Appearance--
I purchased the lightest shade - Tender Rose. Eight shades represents reasonable availability, although other high-end brands provide many more. Tender Rose works well for me, matching skin tone flawlessly and providing the requisite level of coverage. However, throughout the day it does appear to cake more on the skin, clumping together in patches, which means that it looks a little more uneven as the day goes on. This could, however, perhaps be remedied by applying with a brush instead of the supplied sponge.

--Scent--
Smells slightly nutty, which is a little surprising as none of the ingredients appear to indicate the presence of nuts. But it's not in the least unpleasant.

--Texture and consistency--
Very light on the skin on first application, and doesn't feel like it weighs the skin down throughout the day.

--Value for money--
Coverage is good until it starts to clump, and skin tone matching is equally promising. The ingredients promise to do the skin good, and one compact lasts a long time. All of these elements justify the price tag. My only complaint - as you can probably tell - is the sponge applicator. Use a brush instead - they are easier to clean and the powder will likely stay even throughout the day as a result.

Native Unearthed Natural Crystal Deodorant

RRP: £6.49
# of varieties available: 4 (mangosteen, aloe, curcuma and natural)

--What does the promo say?--
"How do our Crystal Deodorants prevent odour?- By leaving an invisible layer of natural minerals on your underarms which works around the clock to prevent the build up of odour causing bacteria. Better still, whilst preventing odour, our natural deodorants don’t clog pores like normal deodorants. Instead, our deodorants still allow your body to continue it’s normal course of eliminating toxins from the body whilst providing round the clock protection. Choose Native, Choose confidence."

--Packaging--
The pinky-purple packaging of the mangosteen deodorant that I was kindly sent gives the product a delicate feel as well as perfectly reflecting the colour of the mangosteen fruit itself. It capitalises mainly on strong lettering and a modern, edgy spiral design that simultaneously seems to reflect the idea of plants growing abundantly, making it seem new and different to other deodorants on the market. The twist-up mechanism is of course familiar to users due to its usage in existing mass-market products, and the clear lid shows you exactly how the product looks before buying.

--Usage--
Run the crystal under some water before rubbing it underneath your dry underarms. No need to rinse off. Wait until it dries (no more time than your usual deodorant) before getting dressed.

--Appearance--
The crystal itself is a pale off-coral, pinkish colour, although the other varieties reflect their ingredients with their respective colours (green for aloe, yellow for curcuma and white for natural). When applied wet under your arms, it goes on invisibly and this does not change when the deodorant dries. Bonus: no white marks on clothing, either!

--Scent--
Surprisingly, none. This, along with the invisible appearance, can make you question whether or not it is really working! But stick with it :-)

--Texture and consistency--
Goes on smooth and wet and dries smooth too, with no graininess resulting once the deodorant dries.

--Effects on the skin--
No irritation, and it works as effectively as, if not more so than, high street deodorants. Great work!

--Value for money--
At £6.49, this is clearly more expensive than high street deodorants (similarly-priced deodorants can be purchased from brands such as Davidoff, Christina Aguilera and Pierre Cardin). However, it competes well with the natural deodorant market, with deodorants by Weleda, lavera and Green People all retailing similarly. I was also sceptical initially as I had tested another natural deodorant in the past, to poor results. However, with this I was pleasantly surprised: not only does it work very well, and leave no white marks on clothing, but there isn't the wastage that you would get with a spray (or even some roll-ons, where you seem to get more on your clothes than your body). Would definitely recommend :-)

Bohemian Chic Minerals Lip Gloss

 RRP: £15
# of shades available: 19
purchase from http://bohemianchicminerals.co.uk/lip-gloss

--What does the promo say?--
"A natural and organic lip-gloss, made from the finest natural, organic oils and waxes for a smooth application with the right amount of colour and shine to give your  lips a perfectly enhanced appearance of fuller, gorgeous lips! Suitable for acne prone skin and sensitive skin. Preservative free. Nano-particle free; bismuth-oxychloride free; 100% pure and  natural minerals. Suitable for Vegans and Halal use."

--Packaging--
A standard plastic tube with application wand included. My only complaint is that all of the writing on the tube is a bit small, meaning it's quite difficult to read and wouldn't necessarily stand out as being from this particular brand.

--Application--
Dot onto the bottom lip and blend in with your finger for a subtle effect, before pressing lips together to transfer the colour. Use the wand across both lips for a more dramatic look.

-Appearance--
The shade I was sent, Burlesque, is the one that's sampled above. In reality it's less of a red wine colour and more of a slightly rusty or coppery red, which sounds worse than it is! In fact, it's a very natural-looking colour that suits my lips perfectly when applied using the 'subtle' method mentioned above (I felt that using the wand all over my lips would be a bit full-on for me). The wide range of shades available online means that there should definitely be a shade to suit everyone - although the French resident and general pedant within me does hope that by "Bourdoux" they actually mean "Bordeaux"!

--Texture and consistency--
Smooth and not at all sticky. Strangely, not like a gloss at all! More like a lip tint (think Benetint or its numerous copies) in that it 'dries' on the lips. It does this, though, without cracking or being paint-like, and it is marginally thicker than a traditional lip stain (these tend to be more liquid).

--Longevity--
Excellent - it doesn't quite last as long as traditional lip tints, but will mostly get through a meal, and as its consistency is less like a gloss than normal, it definitely goes above and beyond most products marketed as a gloss. Its lip stain-style qualities are such that it could also be used as a cheek stain.

--Value for money--
£15 initially seems expensive. However, when you consider its longevity, natural-looking colour and multi-use properties, I would definitely purchase another when mine runs out. An excellent product for travel, swimming, and any other moment where you need to save on money, space and time.

Bohemian Chic Minerals Eyeshadow

RRP: £11
# of shades available: 29
purchase from http://bohemianchicminerals.co.uk/

--What does the promo say?--
"Our mineral eye shadows are created using pure natural minerals. From soft to vivid, smoky to deep, shimmery to matt. The range is endless with  lush shadow shades with a lustrous, silken sateen finish.
Suitable for acne prone skin and sensitive skin. Preservative free. Nano-particles free; bismuth-oxychloride free. Suitable for vegans and Halal use."
--Packaging--
Comes in a tiny plastic screw-top pot, which has a plastic disc with holes in sitting inside. This is further protected by a sticky plastic sheet, which you can either remove completely or use to reseal the disc after each use. Generally this works quite well: to get more product to come out of the pot, close securely with the lid and shake it around a bit before carefully upturning and reopening. Spillage or wastage does not seem to be a problem.

--Application--
Use an eyeshadow brush to dot and blend the shadow over your eyelids as desired. This is easy - the beauty of mineral eyeshadows means that blending's a breeze and that making mistakes is nigh on impossible.

--Appearance--
The shade I was kindly sent, Kiwi, produced a lovely natural-looking sage shade that went well with my eyes and general complexion. Very pleasing! Would lend itself well to mixing with other shades of green and brown from the same range.

--Texture and consistency--
Soft and blendable without being too dusty (i.e. doesn't shower you/the sink/the bathroom with eyeshadow whenever you open the pot, put some on your brush or try to put it on your eyelids). Adheres well to brush and eyelids and is easy to manipulate to create different effects.

--Longevity--
Sadly, this is where the product fell down. Creased and faded significantly after about 6 hours' wear. You will definitely need to reapply during the day - although there's a chance that it would fare better with the help of an eyeshadow primer.

--Value for money--
While the colour and texture of this product is most pleasing, for £11 I would really expect it to last longer on the eyelids. For this price, I'd be more inclined to try Stila's mineral eyeshadows instead, which are also £11. If you're going to buy from this brand, go for their lip gloss instead - it's much better (review to follow!).

Mary Kay Limited Edition Celebrate Nourishine Plus Lip Gloss

RRP: £10
Sold via www.marykay.co.uk until November 15th, 2013. £1 from each sale will be donated to charity.

--What does the promo say?--
"Celebrate is a shimmery peachy-pink shade created from the fun swirl of two Mary Kay® lip glosses: Cream & Sugar and Pink Parfait. This versatile colour looks great on any skin tone. From the moment you glide on the creamy, ultracomfortable formula, you get brilliant shine plus an instant boost of moisture that leaves lips feeling soft and supple. The nourishing, nonsticky formula contains antioxidant-rich vitamins and plant-derived minerals to smooth, protect and condition lips."

--Packaging--
The swirl of pink and gold glosses in the plastic tube is definitely new and different, but it's practical as well thanks to the standard lipgloss wand. The pale gold lid also matches the golden gloss nicely while giving a classy aspect to the product and contrasting the pink gloss.

--Application--
Apply on its own, or over lipstick for a multi-layered effect.

--Appearance--
I was initially worried that the pink aspect of the gloss would make the overall effect garish. However, I needn't have been concerned: the result was pale, pretty, and multi-dimensional. The pink and gold combine very naturally together to create an authentic effect that worked well with my skin tone.

--Texture and consistency--
Non-sticky as promised. I like that it contains vitamins and minerals, too (though SPF would be even better).

--Longevity--
Doesn't last a meal, but then again, what lipglosses do?

--Value for money--
The £10 price tag means that it costs the same as Philosophy and Jurlique, so given the quality of the ingredients and the brand's profile, this seems about right. This is a high-quality product that does what it promises, and at £9 for the individual Cream And Sugar gloss mentioned in the promotional material (curiously, Pink Parfait is apparently unavailable), it's easy enough to create the same sort of effect again even after this promotional anniversary period is over. With £1 going to charity too, it also has that feel-good factor. However, I'd say that what this complimentary (thanks, Mary Kay!) lipgloss has most done for me is to reconsider the brand. In all honesty, the only experience I'd ever had with it before was an overly made-up advisor coming to visit us at home in the late 1990s or early 2000s. However, looking at the website, they seem to rival Avon quite nicely in terms of the quality and range of their products, perhaps even going one better. Even though some of their website photography is terrible, they offer something for everyone, whether it's funky neons or anti-ageing skincare. This makes it a brand I would definitely consider more in future, as I can already see some products that appeal.

Inika Mineral Eyeshadow

RRP: £14.50/1.2g
# of shades available: 24

--What does the promo say?--
"INIKA eyeshadows (1.2g) are rich in pigment providing vibrant and opulent colours that last all day. The purity of ingredients means that they are perfect for even the most sensitive eyes. INIKA eyeshadows are multi-purpose and can be used wet or dry as a shadow or eyeliner."

--Packaging--
The dinkiness of this pot means it can be easily slid into a purse or pocket - not just a handbag! The screwtop lid keeps everything secure, and for extra protection, there's a plastic layer inside as well, with holes so that you can just shake out the amount that you need into the lid. Hopefully this means that you shouldn't find any of the shadow in your pocket!

--Application--
The Inika website recommends using a brush, but if you should be caught short, I've found that fingers work just as well - the size of the holes and the security of the plastic lid inside the pot mean that powder doesn't just come rushing out and that you can control application easily. Blend outwards gently for idiot-proof smoky eyes; layer colours for a dazzling metallic rainbow effect; or wet the shadow for use as an eyeliner.

--Appearance--
Can be vamped up or subtly played down for the effect that you want; layering the shadow is easy and effective. The shade I had, Burnt Sienna, was given to me at a QVC press day, and would work well for any skin type (although may be less visible on darker skin tones). However, with 24 colours to select from, you're spoilt for choice and will definitely find a hue that suits you.

--Texture and consistency--
Smooth and powdery without sending dust everywhere. The texture is very manageable - easy to manipulate for blending and for application with your fingers.

--Longevity--
Definitely lasts all day as promised. Not a crease to be seen! Very impressive.

--Value for money--
I think one pot of this would last you a long time, and given that this literally stays on all day and is made with natural ingredients too, I think the shadow is worth every penny and that the price is an accurate valuation of the product. Would definitely purchase for myself and wholeheartedly recommend to others.

Jane Iredale Powder-Me SPF Dry Sunscreen

RRP: £29.54
available in 3 shades: Translucent, Golden and Tanned

--What does the promo say?--
"Helps prevent sunburn and sun induced skin damage. Powder-Me SPF is an all over face and body powder which protects from UVB and UVA rays. With an SPF 30, it's an essential in the fight against the merciless damage caused by the sun. Because this remarkable sunscreen is a powder, it doesn't run where you don't want it – such as your eyes! It also starts working immediately. No wait for chemicals to be absorbed by the skin. Just layer the light powder on for immediate protection. And it's so easy to use. Powder-Me SPF is packaged in an innovative dispenser that ensures quick and even coverage. Apart from its active ingredient of titanium dioxide, one of the ingredients in this state-of-the-art sunscreen is a natural clay dried in the sun and completely free of contaminants and atmospheric pollutants. The ancient clay also contains minerals that nourish and calm the skin, helping sooth inflammation from too much sun exposure."

--Packaging--
This is a clear plastic pot with a screw-top opening for refills, which leads to a sponge for everyday application. In addition, there is a push-on lid which comes complete with its own mirror in the top. There are several advantages to this type of packaging: the transparent pot means you can see when you're running low, and the sponge is very good for targeted application (Italian makeup brand Pupa makes a similar pot which you can use to apply blusher). The fact that you can refill it is also excellent news and the mirror is very handy. However, I feel that Jane Iredale would do well to sell a brush version alongside this to help cover larger areas of the body, such as the legs, more quickly (Body Shop does something similar to this, and Colorescience's Sunforgettable mineral sunscreen also comes in this format).

--Application--
One is instructed to apply liberally and evenly over face and body, topping up every 2 hours (plus after swimming, perspiring or towel drying). So fairly standard across the sunscreen market. However, as mentioned above, I found that the sponge applicator made this easy only on smaller areas of the body (such as face, arms, hands and feet) and took much longer on larger areas (such as legs, chest and stomach).

--Appearance--
This will obviously depend on the shade you choose. Pick translucent if you are pale, the brand new Golden if you have an olive skin tone, or Tanned if your skin is darker than this. I found that Golden looked great on my arms, but was too dark for my legs and face. Some of us may need two! The sunscreen also appeared patchy on larger areas of skin due to the design of the applicator.

--Scent--
None. Perhaps a little bit of the sponge, if anything (a new-fabric kind of smell) but generally not chemical or artificially fragranced.

--Texture and consistency--
Being a mineral powder foundation, it's powder-light and you can dab it easily onto the skin. No signs of irritation or clogged pores were experienced while using the product.

--Effects on the skin--
As this product is endorsed by the Skin Cancer Foundation as providing effective UVA and UVB protection, it should come as no surprise that my skin was adequately protected from the sun and did not burn :)  Yay :)

--Value for money--
At nearly £30 this is expensive for a sunscreen, and it doesn't even have the consolation of refills being available (meaning you have to shell out the whole £30 each time you run out. However, the price is in line with other mineral companies - BareMinerals' powder sunscreen, for instance, is £25 (although at least that one comes in brush form). While there are clear advantages - the fact that there are no white streaks or stickiness as with some traditional suncreams, or the fact that its texture and consistency wouldn't change over time in the same way as a cream - it is a time-consuming way of applying sun cream and some people may feel happier sticking to use of this on their face and arms, while using a different sunscreen that's easier to apply to larger areas. It's a high-quality product, but its major design flaws (sponge applicator, no refills) need to be resolved to make it even more appealing to the mass market.

PitROK Crystal Roll-On Deodorant for Women

RRP: £4/50ml

--What does the promo say?--
"A Sensitive Skin deodorant based on pure natural mineral salts. PitRok For Women provides day-long protection without causing irritation. The PitRok crystal is a natural bacteriostatic agent – so it stops the bacteria that cause underarm odour from growing. Formulated with Aloe Vera, Grapefruit seed extract and our natural crystal it leaves your skin feeling fresh and revitalised. Like all PitRok Deodorants it includes only the ingredients needed to do the job. Nothing more. Dermatologically tested. Free from Aluminium Chlorohydrate or Aluminium Zirconium. Free from Parabens, SLS/SLES, Propylene Glycol, Silicone. Does NOT block pores. Not tested on animals by or on behalf of PitROK. Contains no animal derived ingredients. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans."

--Packaging--
The white and gold colour scheme and vintage swirls make this product seem glamorous, new, and different, allowing it to stand out on the shelves among the greens and blues that are so common in the deodorant market. The lid twists off easily when you want to use it and closes securely afterwards. At 50ml it's also suitable for travel, although the flip side of this is that the roller ball is perhaps a bit small.

--Usage instructions--
The PitROK website instructs that "it is essential that PitROK is applied to freshly cleaned skin, therefore always use immediately after your bath or shower.  Apply to underarms or feet.  Dries in about a minute." No quibble here - it's quick-drying and easy to use (although I've only tried it on my underarms, not on my feet).

--Appearance--
A clear liquid that leaves no white marks on skin or clothes.

--Scent--
A bit too muskily and heavily perfumed for me; there's a possibility that it could interfere with other perfume you're wearing and I prefer a cleaner, fresher smell in my deodorants in general. Others, however, may feel that this offers an all-in-one possibility, protecting from bad odours while acting as a perfume in its own right, meaning there is no need to add extra perfume.

--Texture and consistency--
Rolls on over skin smoothly, sinks in and dries quickly and easily, and does not irritate in any way.

--Efficacy--
Unfortunately I didn't find this worked well on me; I preferred the Sure and Dove deodorants that I've also been sent recently in terms of keeping me BO-free. Strangely, I didn't experience much wetness with this product but I did feel that it just wasn't as effective at keeping me odour-free - but then again I do suffer with hyperhydrosis, so others may find they have a different experience.

--Value for money--
Prices can vary for this one, because at present it's much easier to get hold of online than in physical stores (chains such as Boots, Superdrug, Waitrose and Lloydspharmacy mainly stock the spray - see below for more info). You can therefore expect to pay between £3.42 (One Click Pharmacy) and £4.99 (Goodness Direct) for this product. Either way, do I think it's worth it? While I like the concept and packaging, sadly this just didn't really work for me. I look forward to using the wipes that PitROK's PR also sent me to see if they work out any better.

Onça Company Beauty and Energy Supplement

RRP: £156 for a 30 day supply (60 sachets)
purchase from https://www.oncacompany.com/en/onlineshop/onca-30-day-supply.html in Euros, US $, HK $, £ sterling, Swiss francs, or Japanese yen

--What does the promo say?--
"Onça is a natural supplement, a powder of superior quality designed for beauty, energy and anti-ageing. Its essence is to give a real sense of well being. It is a very exclusive product, but not simply for the sake of elitism. Due to the very limited availability of the fruits, combined with the unique production process necessary to retain the nutrients, output is on a very limited scale. We can produce sufficient amounts to supply 3,000 people worldwide. Onça provides a complete formula with tropical botanicals, lipids (omega), amino acids, hydrolyzed collagen, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, carotenoids and flavonoids as present in the fruits of the Amazon rainforest. The fruits are harvested deep in the Amazon, from the most fertile soil on Earth. None of Onça's ingredients are plantation fruits. As two drinks per day Onça gives your body what it needs. By day, it is energising, cleansing, detoxifying, creating harmony and a sense of well being. By night, Onça is supporting the bodies recovery, rebuilding health, beauty and body cells. One Onça box contains 30 activator sachets (10 grams)  to mix in your morning drink and 30 regenerator sachets (10 grams) to mix in your evening drink. For the Onça community, the feeling of well being is multi-dimensional. It is not solely about the huge benefits of Onça as a natural source of beauty and energy, it is also about a spiritual connection to the rainforest. The physical manifestation of this is our partnership with Atini, a non-profit organisation formed by Indian leaders to defend the rights of the indigenous children of the Amazon. Onça donates a percentage of all revenue to support their work and specific projects."

--Packaging--
Onça keeps things simple with white sachets, gold writing on the front (with emphasis on the brand name and on whether it's a morning or an evening sachet), and black writing on the back (only in Portuguese though!) outlining the ingredients. Brief, precise and classy-looking.

--Usage instructions--
Dissolve one sachet in the morning and one sachet in the evening into a drink of your choice (250ml liquid). Onça recommends a milk-based or soya based drink, but as I'm not a massive fan of milk, and it's hardly hot chocolate season (probably the only way you can actually get me to drink milk), this was out. You can dissolve it into *any* drink, though, so this doesn't matter (more on this subject later). I'd recommend putting in the powder first (not last) and stirring throughout the addition of the liquid, and also throughout consumption. Hot drinks in general are also better (again, more on this later).

--Appearance--
The morning supplement did not look good at all: it was the colour of chocolate, but lacked the thickness to really convince yourself it was actually hot chocolate. Plus, no matter how well I mixed it, or into what drink, there always seemed to be more lumps/sediment than in the evening. The evening drink looked more like tomato soup due to its deep orange-red colour and proved much easier to mix for some reason (thus resulting in fewer lumps). Some of the lumps are actually camu-camu fruit, which you can eat and which are delicious. To be fair to Onça, they do mention that you can prepare the drink in a liquidiser if you don't "do" lumps, but I didn't try this.

--Scent and taste--
The morning drink was like a poor man's version of a Terry's Chocolate Orange: there was a chocolatey flavour and scent, and an orangey flavour and scent, but for some reason the flavours didn't seem to blend well together. There was also a third, yeastier flavour which may account for some of the unpleasantness I felt when drinking it. Blended with water, it was not nice. I found I was best off blending it with fruit juice or a smoothie as this seemed to make the flavours work better together.
The evening drink proved a far pleasanter experience. The unusual fruit scents of mana cubio and passionfruit fused together for an intensely citrusy, but not sour hit, of flavour, and for some reason this drink had a creamier scent and taste too. Overall it was much nicer to drink, and again it can work well in fruit juice or smoothies, but this blend was much nicer just mixed with water too.

--Texture and consistency--
As mentioned, I found the morning drink unpleasant not only because of its weird taste but also because of its gritty texture: no matter what I did I just couldn't get the lumpiness to go away and there was always a layer of sediment left at the bottom of the cup that I had to force down. The evening drink went down much more easily, with there being far fewer lumps each time. To reduce lumps, I'd recommend adding the powder to the cup first, then the liquid; stirring constantly throughout the mixing and consumption of the drink; and making the drink with hot liquid (it's possible that the heat makes the powder dissolve better). You could also try Onça's recommendation of preparing the drink in a liquidiser.

--Effects on the skin--
One of the product's main advertised benefits is smoother, plumper skin due to the increased collagen provided by the product (it's hydrolysed and is the main ingredient in the evening supplement). Firstly, you are never going to see a difference in five days' supply alone (this is the amount sent to me by Onça's press team), so on that score I can't say whether it really works or not. Secondly, the fact of touting collagen as the principal benefit suggests to me that this product is not really aimed at people my age (26) - so even if I did see benefits they would possibly not be optimal or as visible as in someone older. Many of the ingredients in the supplement are packed with vitamins (including A and B) which are supposed to improve skin health and condition generally, but again, in five days I did not notice any change in my acne, even though Onça contains lycopene, zinc and selenium - all famous acne-busting ingredients. Another thing which suggests this may not be aimed at my age range is that hydration is cited as a major skin benefit from this product  - which I am not convinced is something my oily skin requires.

--Other effects--
From the morning drink, I was supposed to notice the following effects:
- an improvement in hearing and memory
- strengthened skin, hair, teeth and nails
- healthier and more youthful appearance
- the feeling of being happier and more relaxed
- the feeling of being energised
- ease in controlling weight
- greater hydration
- a boosted immune system

The only aspect of this that I can truly say I noticed was in terms of energy: although my medical-student sister believed this effect to be a mere placebo, I definitely felt more energised in the mornings and felt I had a greater spring in my step. The major fallout has to be in terms of the immune system part: this not only failed to prevent me from catching my sister's cold but also did not lessen its effects or duration. However, a lot of the effects listed above are also not really measurable, especially over only a 5-day course (when it is supposed to be taken for a minimum of 30 days).

The evening drink promised the following:
- strengthened skin, hair, teeth and nails
- healthier and more youthful appearance
- the feeling of being energised
- improved sleep
- the feeling of being happier and more relaxed
- healthier eyes
- improved digestion
- pain relief
- decreased bloating

Of these, I would say that I primarily experienced pain relief (of recurring toothache due to wisdom teeth coming in - but this could also have been due to the paracetamol I was taking for my cold), and the feeling of being happier, more energised, and more relaxed. To say you instantly feel more tranquil and instantly physically better after (and even during) consumption of the evening drink is no exaggeration - but it's a temporary high, on a par to the instant stress relief you feel when eating chocolate (although unlike eating chocolate, there's no deadly sugar crash with Onça's evening remedy). I noticed no difference to my sleep, skin, hair, teeth or nails and I don't suffer with bloating or digestive problems. Other benefits would take longer than 5 days to see.

--Value for money--
At £156 for a month's supply this definitely needs serious consideration for most of us. If it's that or the gym membership, I'd say you'd get more from the gym membership. However, when you break down the cost, it comes out at around £5 a day - which is probably what many people spend on unhealthy snacks and chain-store coffee a day, as well as possibly other habits like cigarette-smoking, magazines, or lottery tickets. In this case, I would choose the Onça as it will do far more for you than these other everyday 'luxuries'. In my ideal world, though, I'd like to see Onça offer an option where you could choose the morning OR the evening supplements (or both, of course!) as different people will react differently to each of the drinks, and while others may find they benefit hugely from both, I personally was happiest with just the evening drink: it instantly destresses and makes you feel physically better in yourself. If Onça were to offer the evening drink separately (say, at £75-£80 a month - which is what some people spend on their mobile phone bill each month), I would definitely take them up on it.
